New hotmail space

Microsoft is now offering its hotmail storage similar like yahoo. I just found that its live spaces is more interesting than this blog. I am still evaluating the live spaces of mine (and have a thought of moving to it). My spaces can be accessed at http://cikgusir.spaces.live.com/ Guys! If you all have msn or hotmail account, you can also register for the space. Then we can connect our blog...Oh... one more important thing... you have to have an hotmail account (e-mail account at least) to give comment/feedback to any post. You can get it from here or here. The other way is you just e-mail me your comment if you do not have any hotmail/MSN account, then I'll put the comment in the blog. My email is e_jarl@hotmail.com p/s: I just found it is best to be viewed with Internet Explorer 6.0 >. If you use mozilla firefox certain features may not be available.

Kebetulan? Pad a awalnya hanya kerlingan tapi kali kedua jadi la pulak renungan (nasib baik tengah berhenti kat traffic light)... cewek tu mengingatkan aku pada sorang bekas awek ku suatu masa dahulu... nak dijadikan cerita tatkala memori silam mula nak masuk jarum, entah macammana bait-bait puitis "SONNET 18-William Shakespeare" yang selama ni tak pernah aku hafal, macam berlegar-legar je kat dalam kepala hotak aku. Lebih kurang macam ni la bunyinya: Shall I compare thee to a summer day? (padahal hari ni hujan renyai)... Thou art more lovely and more temperate, Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May (padahal

Photo: (Tongkat yang dilupakan/The abandoned walking stick?) It is not the main aim of this blog to be a hardcore political blog but since our former PM, TUN Dr. Mahathir has been criticized for his critics, I just can not hold this "heat", I feel this become disrespect to a statesman. The saddest memory of him resigned as the president of UMNO, Prime Minister and every position he held is still fresh inside me. I do not understand why all of his supporters who cried when he announced his resignation are now the persons who condemned him. The worst of it is, there are many voices that requested the UMNO supreme council to sack him out from UMNO. I have my own rationale why I believe TUN M’s critics on the present government, especially the present Prime Minister. As I have experienced how TUN M’s ideas that seemed too ambitious and unreliable are now become the most impressive and most needed. The Penang Bridge project and the PLUS Highway are the examples. I believe h

Message from the sky

Thousands years ago, there was a message sent to a greatest and last messenger of his MASTER who rules the entire space and earth. The message was transmitted via a light made creature to alert the humankind of a greatest night which is the night of power, peace and blessing. The message was sent in arabic. Here is the message. 097.001 We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: 097.002 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ 097.002 And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? 097.003 لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ 097.003 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 097.004 Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand: 097.005 سَلامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ 097.005 Peace!...This until the rise of morn! -----------------------------------------------

The cursed and the curser

THE CURSED AND THE CURSER They kill our brethren, We curse them, They invade our land, We curse them, They take our wealth, We curse them, They attack our holy land, We curse them. They give us pots of core-ruptious honey, We glad, They give us their unsewn clothes, We glad, They tell us their lullaby, We sleep, They give us their prickly heaven, We enter, From the heaven we see, They kill our brethren, We curse them, but wait, remember the honey? We quiet. They invade our land, We curse them, but wait, remember the clothes? We quiet. They take our wealth, We curse them, but wait, remember the lullaby? We quiet. They attack our holy land, We curse them. but wait, remember the heaven? We quiet. There where we will stay, There where we will wait, forever...In the heaven where red rivers flow beneath, In the heaven mighty them created, from our wealth they robbed, from our long lost

Muhammad bin Abdullah

Differences between The Western and The Oriental Dragons. --- Since ancient time the folklores and legends are passed on from generation to generation and still preserve till the present days. In these folklores and legends, sometimes we can notice the presence of some mysterious figures that make the folklores become more interesting. The appearance of dragons makes the folklores and legends have more spices. Dragons are considered as legendary creatures. Legendary creatures mostly appeared in many cultures and literatures all over the world. Even though the dragons appear in most of the world culture, we should know that the world did not share the same dragons. There are three differences between the western dragons and the oriental dragons. The first difference is their symbolic representation in the culture of the world. Taking Romans as an example, Johnsgard exposes that the Romans once used a kind of flag that depicted a flying dragon figure. The figure symbolises a troo

Instead, the rest day turned out to be one of anxiety for thousands of residents here who were rudely awakened at dawn by floodwaters gushing into their homes. Millennium Malay Man

Sir Frank Swettenham wrote in 1906, "Thirty years ago, a Malay never moved without his keris. When he bathed, he took it with him and when he slept it lay by his hand. "He gave it more attention than his wife and probably put a higher value on it. If it is a famous blade, of Bugis make and perfect in all measurements and every other test, no amount of money would buy it." Berdasarkan pemerhatiannya itulah tanggapan Swettenham seorang orientalis. Bagaimana a

O ungrateful sons of Adam, thy request is answered!

Recently I have heard many complaints on the hot weather we have had. Sometimes the complaints are too much where I felt they like arguing the God's business. Now, I feel that their request to have rain is answered. Rain falls almost everyday and some east coast states is now in flood. Moral of the story: Do not interupt God's business, accept it as a test. Be grateful .

Today is the climax of the Hajj. All pilgrims will assemble at a place named Arafat where they have to stay from midday to sunset in meditation before God. After that they will move to Muzdalifah to gather pebbles for the next ritual of throwing the collected pebbles against three stone pillars (The 3 Jumrahs: - al-Ula, al-Wusta, al-Aqabah) in the neighbouring village of Mina . This ritual is to follow the act of Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be Upon Him) resisted the temptation of satan who tried to make him disobey God's order to sacrifice his beloved son, Ismail. The order to sacrifice Ismail was to test Prophet Ibrahim's (Peace be Upon Him) faith. God is the most compassionate and merciful won't let his obedient prophet lost his son then had ransomed Ismail with a ram. Rembering this great event, all Muslims follow this ritual during the festival of Eidul Adha. It is not the blood and the flesh God seeks for but their sincerity and devotion. I hope one day I will be

A lesson from the past...

Yesterday, I watched Pearl Harbor at TV3. The things that I have learnt from it were, be prepared for unexpected surprise (is surprise ever expected?). Always alert on whatever happened around us. Never live in satisfaction. The movie also shows us that war is the most unwanted event on earth. Those who encourage and love war are crazy and inhumane. They are brethren of terrorists. Similar in actions even though different in objectives. It could be better if we spend the large amount of expenditure in wars to fight the poverty in many 3rd world countries. Let us live in peace and harmony, out of prejudice and hatred. Let our future generations inherit world of peace and freedom. War never gives us any good. It left us with ashes and burns which mixed with our tears and cries when it over. Is this what we want our children to face? It is all in our hands to shape the future. Yes, the future is not for us to see, it belongs to the ALMIGHTY but I believe the present is the bridge to the
