RELC Singapore: Day 1 - Revisiting Kampong Glam
Rain was falling that day. As we were eating lunch, intense rain began to fall. We continued going towards an unanticipated destination after paying for our meals when the rain ceased.
Once again, I was captivated by the mosque and Kampong Glam compound, even though I was unsure of what had brought me here. Istana Kampong Glam was the next stop on our walk, and I was equally impressed by its architecture.

My most recent trip to Singapore's Malay Heritage Centre was a stroke of fate, as the museum was hosting an exhibition that delved into the fascinating history of the Bugis people. Honour and Pride, or Sirri na Pesse, was the exhibition's title. The exhibition showcased a wealth of informational artefacts and collections about the Bugis ethnicity and the Singaporean Bugis community.
